The humans as a people are average in height and stature, humans represent the middle ground in all aspects of the world. Varied in both government and religion, it is hard to not find a niche in human society, and their adaptability and durability lets them pursue any profession. After centuries as nomads and bandits, most of the humans settled down, developing towns and kingdoms and eventually even dominions over the land. While they may not offer anything special up front, a human child is a blank canvas who could become a great leader or a nefarious outcast. Physically, humans can be frail and skinny, or thick and muscular, short, medium, or tall. Their skin ranges from ghostly pale to the darkest chocolate. Blonde, brown, red or black hair usually. But with humans, there are always many exceptions. Originally nomadic, the human race faced the challenges of surviving as hunters and gatherers, inhabiting the eastern forests and grasslands of the continent. Hardened and shaped as a people from the dire persistent threat from the north, the race known as the Algid, a very brutal society of warriors led by their pantheon bent on a path of destruction for the humans. The struggle between the humans and the algid culminated in a event marked on the human calendar as 0. Before 0, around 1000 BCE, the first unified attacks were made by the algid leaders. The nomadic tribes of the humans quickly formed loose federations and war continued until the winter started getting colder, the Algid were getting stronger, and they pushed the human battlefronts all the way to the northern bank of the Serigon river. On the brink of destruction, the fate of the humans and the world was changed suddenly as a monolithic rock meteor is crashed deep into the heart of the battle. Known to the human people as eternal dawn. Thwarted by the heroic visions of the legendary Prince Eson, the humans were left unharmed. In the wake of eternal dawn, the first human state was created. A nation led by the beliefs and followings of Prince Eson and the devout mage Thaeus. Centuries later the human civilization has bloomed, the coldest winters have passed and relative peace has been seen within the lands of Elantor. A city is built named Havengard, in the warm months that followed eternal dawn, protected the humans there after. The royal hierachary of Eson's lineage continues to rule over Havengard and the majority of the populace, the eternal flame forged by Eson still burns fiercely, and the devotion of the human people still remains to that divine power.
